Meet the Doctor

Dr. Amy Morris has spent the last seven years practicing dentistry at Fort Hood, Texas. Her experience as a dentist and as the wife of a deployed Soldier coupled with her comfortable bedside manner, patience, and a gentle touch has won over thousands of patients. Planning for her husband’s retirement from the Army, she decided the best place to move her practice was to Abilene. Abilene has always been home. She grew up in Abilene, graduated Salutatorian from Wylie High School, Summa Cum Laude from Angelo State in Biology, and Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Morris maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the International Association of Orthodontics. Realizing patients’ needs extend beyond having cavities filled, Dr. Morris strives to meet those needs. She is certified in: Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas), Sedation dentistry, Orthodontics (braces), Botox, and Dermal fillers. She is a recipient of the Excellence In Clinical Dentistry award presented by UTHSCSA.

In her off time, Dr. Morris enjoys creating pencil portraits, photography, cooking, archery, playing with her dogs, and feeding cows with her husband. Her favorite food is still chips and hot sauce.

Now that she is back, she is excited to see old friends and welcomes new ones. It’s great to be home.
